NEW PRODUCT: Evolve eyedrops
Evolve eyedrops are new lubricating eye drops for dry eyes.
They come in multiple options: the intensive daily drops contain 0.2% sodium hyaluronate, while the intensive gel drops are made with hyaluronate, carbomer 980 and glycerol. Canadian specialty pharmaceutical company Aequus Pharmaceuticals makes them.
The eye drops are preservative and phosphate-free, don’t cause blurring and are compatible with hard and soft contact lenses. Each bottle contains more than 350 drops—the highest number on the market.
The eye drops are available only to the public through eye care clinics; clinicians can order the new Evolve eyedrops online.
“We are excited to launch the Evolve line of dry eye products in Canada, as they will not only improve treatment and compliance for better patient outcomes but create an improved revenue stream for professionals who spend additional time and resources treating dry eye patients in practice,” Grant Larsen, Chief Commercial Officer for Aequus Pharmaceuticals, said in a press release.
